Schönholzer Transport AG
Since October 2016 the Schönholzer Transport AG - which belongs to the Planzer Group since 2002 - relies on the new logistics center with rail connection on the site in Märstetten.
The total building has a length of approximately 288 m and a maximum width of 56 m and is divided into a hall and an office area. The total storage and handling area represent on around 21'800 m2.
Requirements
The goods handling is ensured by 17 loading ramps on the side of the building and a track connection with a loading ramp running over the entire building length.
These 17 electro hydraulic loading ramps with doors and spring-loaded dock shelters were supplied by Gilgen Logistics AG. The loading ramps convince by longevity and serve as optimal height compensation between the building ramp and the vehicles. A flexible and rational loading and unloading of the trucks is made possible and ensures an effective overall logistics.
Logistics solution
The ramps with sledge and frame are galvanized, which guarantees a long-term surface protection. The lifting force is generated by the hydraulic unit placed below the ramp and is directed to the parallel arranged lifting cylinders.
For a customer-specific design the ramps can be expanded with accessories such as 2x2 tongues, thermal insulation, sound insulation, large rubber buffers, etc. The annual maintenance of the loading ramps will be carried out by the Gilgen's competent customer service.
