We were asked to install an automatic pallet lift for the Swiss cereal manufacturer KENTAUR. A completely new lift shaft was built on the outside of the building for this purpose.

Gilgen Logistics upgraded the existing 20 lorry loading docks at the Migros operations centre in Dierikon, Lucerne, to the latest standard. In this retrofit, the docking points were converted into new thermal loading docks. A steel structure clad with ISO panels enables a thermally optimised façade with highly insulated sectional doors and inflatable door seals. During the conversion, all loading ramps were replaced with five different customised loading ramps.

For the Migros Aare cooperative, we were able to design and install the expansion and optimization of the returns in the logistics centre at the well-known Shoppyland Schönbühl on 800 m2 over 2 floors of a new facility. In addition to the fully automatic conveyor technology for pallet and pack transport, special products "pack destacker", "tipping station" and "vision systems" were developed and supplied in-house.

We are currently installing the latest generation of stacker cranes at the building services specialist Meier Tobler.

What makes the Gilgen Logistics intralogistics system special is its size: it is several floors high. At its core is the sorting system. This connects the delivery, sorting, waste disposal, washing station and storage systems with each other.

In order to regulate the different frequencies of returns deliveries of empty containers, we were allowed to install a buffer warehouse for 477 pallet spaces at Migros Ostschweiz.

The distribution centre of Denner Lyss is home to our first digitalised system. Augmented reality was already used in the sales phase. Now AR supports maintenance and customer services and provides a lot of information about the system quickly and easily.
