Kentaur, CH-Lützelflüh
Pallet liftKENTAUR was the first manufacturer of oat flakes in Switzerland in 1846. The company has been producing healthy and innovative cereal products in Lützelflüh in the Emmental valley for over 175 years. Today, KENTAUR AG is a modern cereal processing company with customers from all over the world.

New lift shaft
The existing goods lift has reached its capacity limit. A completely new automatic pallet lift completes the process. The lift shaft required for this was built on the outside of the existing building and connects all floors with each other. The automatic lift for Euro and industrial pallets has a separate loading and unloading section on each floor. A shifting unit on the load handling device in the lift distributes the loads to the corresponding conveyor sections.
Process optimisations
With the new solution, all seven floors are connected and the goods can be transported flexibly. This increases automation and optimises the flow of goods.
The conveyor technology is identical on all floors and is equipped with one infeed and one outfeed section. Each section has four buffer spaces. A control panel can be used to set the destination for the feed. An illuminated column indicates whether the task is possible or whether removal is necessary to release buffer spaces.
The new pallet lift makes our work process much easier. The increased capacity eliminates waiting times, so that employees can make more rapid progress. The Gilgen solution fits perfectly into the supply chain.
