Shelf Inspection with a Drone – Fast and Safe

Services Overview

We inspect:

  • Shelf Condition: Are there damages/defects on beams, supports, welds, safety handles, the building floor, the correct setup of the system, etc.?

  • Stability: Are the shelf anchorages complete and intact, are the shelf supports vertically aligned, are the maximum load capacities adhered to, are the loads evenly distributed, etc.?

  • Markings: Are load capacity signs and shelf identification numbers current and clearly visible?

  • Protection Devices: Do collision protection and other safety systems meet the requirements?

  • Environment: Are suitable forklifts, loading units, and pallets used for the shelving system? Are loading maneuvers correctly performed? Are the aisles neat and clean?

You will receive:

  • Inspection report & documentation
    • Report of detected defects
    • Photos of damages and anomalies
    • Drone video
  • Damage classification (Green, Orange, Red)
  • Recommendations for rectifying the defects
  • Inspection sticker (if no defects were found)

Legal Requirement

As an employer, you are legally obligated to properly maintain work equipment to protect employees from accidents and health risks. This includes the annual professional inspection of shelves as set out in DIN EN 15635.
