Logistics solution

In order to further develop its site in Liechtenstein in the long term, HILCONA has also built a new high-bay warehouse as part of a comprehensive plant development project. Gilgen Logistics designed, supplied, and installed the intralogistics for this refrigerated and frozen warehouse with seven aisles and space for 17,408 pallets. The result is a warehouse that operates in three temperature zones, each of which is precisely tailored to the respective products.

The cold store maintains a constant temperature of +4 degrees Celsius for finished goods.
In the deep-freeze warehouse, the temperature drops to -28 degrees Celsius, and all system components have been specially designed.
We store raw products and packaging materials in the so-called "ambient zone" at +14 degrees.

The high-bay warehouse is directly connected to the conveyor system on three levels. Roller conveyors and belt conveyors transport Euro and industrial pallets as well as plastic tubs across several floors. Four pallet lifts provide vertical transport. The system control, including visualization, and an SAP connection via reporting points for the material flow computer and the warehouse management system at the SAP level ensure the smooth flow of the conveyed goods.
