The challenge
modernisationFor the existing high-bay warehouse for raw materials and finished products, automation primarily meant doing away with manual storage and retrieval machines and outdated conveyor technology.
Our solution
Tailor-made automationThe high-bay warehouse for 1,133 pallets, which partially supports the façade and roof, is now controlled by two automated high-performance storage and retrieval machines for single and double-depth storage. The modern pallet conveyor technology has buffer sections for 6 pallets each and only one storage bay for storage and retrieval. The system control with visualisation, material flow computer and interface to the ERP ensure optimum performance and integration into production.
Benefit
Precision and integrationThe operation is now fully automated. Thanks to direct integration into the ERP system, storage errors are a thing of the past. At the same time, power consumption and wear are reduced, as the system constantly adjusts speed and performance to meet demand.
