FASTER, MORE COMPACT AND MORE ECONOMICAL

We present the latest generation of stacker cranes for pallets and containers. These are faster, more space-saving, safer, more sustainable and more economical. The first devices have already been put into operation at customers.

We win the silver award in the "Best Swiss App 2022" in the category Innovation together with our partner Netcetera for our project "Digitalisation meets Automation". With the augmented reality app, the digital twin of the conveyor system can be accessed down to the individual screw. The entire process is digitally supported, from the sales process to animated maintenance instructions.

Together with Denner AG, we have been nominated for the Swiss Logistics Award 2022 by GS1. Our project "Digitalisation meets Automation" is among the last four finalists of the most important Swiss logistics award. The award ceremony will take place on 8 June 2022 in the Kursaal Bern.

We have been championing digitalisation for years now. We are convinced we can use it to geneate added value for us und our customers. What does digitalisation mean for a physical and complex intralogistics facility? We show the possibilities that are available, from less paper to augmented reality, and continue to expand them.

Eleven companies from three countries, together in a “Special Interest Group”, have set the goal to develop a state of the art, reference warehouse that can be operated fully autonomous for 48 hours. With this premise, the Association “Network Logistics Switzerland” launched its four years innovation program for an “Intelligent Dark Warehouse” in early February 2021. Gilgen Logistics is part of this innovation program.
