In this episode of our series ‘Coffee & Career’, we introduce you to Boris Prpić – Team Leader Service Technicians North Region at Gilgen Logistics.
Boris's day begins in the usual way: coffee, checking emails – and off he goes. Whether in the office or directly at the customer's site, he never gets bored.
As a team leader, he is not only responsible for maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting, but also for providing technical support to his colleagues. Support and team spirit are a matter of course for him.
Boris' personal highlight so far? A repair job in Spain: the 16 drive wheel sets and gear motors on eight storageand retrieval machines had to be replaced within just two weeks. An unprecedented feat – including night shifts. This was only possible thanks to his highly focused, motivated and fit colleagues. A great team experience.
What Boris particularly appreciates about Gilgen:

After work, Boris likes to grab his gardening gloves or his fishing rod. He simply switches off in the garden or on the Rhine – and is fully ready again the next day.
